Teachers are influential and sometimes you base your life on what other people say. My life as a Mexican is bad because nobody stands up for each other and they're not smart but the United States is corrupted and having Mexicans and other races is beneficial because all money is good money and even the most wise philosophers think that. A community is nothing without every single organism is important because without them it's not a community. People should start looking up to people who actually do something with their life like Martin Luther King Jr. They are people who do something with their life. They are the teachers, the kings, the real queens of poverty and the middle class.

Harris Updates

We are not going to have school on Monday. We just had break. There is basketball at Harris. The boys won against Cartwright on Wednesday. The girl's team lost against Cartwright on Wednesday.

Eriberto

A lot has happened at Harris. We are going to get our report cards. We had the Galileo test. We started basketball and they have won two and lost four. Baseball is starting and Mr. E is going to be the coach.

Luis

Here at Harris there are a couple things happening. There is the girl's and boy's basketball team. We're not doing that good, but we are still trying to keep up. I think that if we try hard enough we could win the championship. One of our games against Borman we could have won. The referee was making bad calls. We are also not having school this Monday because it is Martin Luther King day.

Not a lot of things happen at Harris. We had a Galileo test. We had a basketball game. They won the game. They have two wins and four losses.

Edgar

A lot of kids like to play basketball at recess including me. Almost all the eighth graders like to play basketball. Mrs. Radford's class likes to compete against Valdivia's class. We won last time.

Kevin

A lot of things are happening at Harris. The Harris basketball team beat the Cartwright team. Harris won 35-34 at the end of the game. The team's record is 2-4. This win will help the team. Playoffs are getting close and Harris needs to win.

Galileo Testing

Galileo testing was hardest this quarter for the eighth graders. Everyone tried their best, but it was still too hard. They should make the test easier so students can do better on it. The easiest test was the writing. Most students did better on that test.

There is graffiti on the school walls and equipment. People that do all of this do not know the consequences. They don't know that they can go to juvie and they will not be accepted in any school with a bad record. So please don't tag at our school. It is damaging our school and making it look bad.

Cold Winter Days

At Harris we have decided to bring little blankets to school. Some people might think it's really stupid but to us it isn't. It keeps us really warm and cozy. And we don't really care what people think. After this, people will start bringing blankets and we think they should too. So you can be warm.

Our Activities

Our school activities here at Harris Elementary School are great. There are a lot of different sports. The sports here are soccer, baseball, basketball, flag football, and there’s even cheerleading and I think track. There’s more too, but those are the ones that I know only.

How do we know that there’s sport here at the school? Well the principal here at the school does announcements and she announces the sports. She says where, when, and at what time the tryouts are going to be.You should come to Harris and tryout for one of the sports and you will like them. But come and join one of these activities or sports here at Harris school before the season ends of your favorite sport.
